I disagree.
Even if we have definitive proof for something, we have free will to ignore the evidence and not believe.
We can think of it another way — currently we have enough evidence to place God in the “not plausible” bracket.
At the very least, we have enough evidence, that would place anything beside the existence of God into the “utter nonsense” bracket.
Nevertheless, people have free will to believe in God, and many of them, even the well-educated chose to do so.
Then, if the situation is inverted, and we do scientifically prove the existence of God — some will still chose not to believe, as they do have free will.
